Find Your Motivation!

Whether you want to become more fit, eat healthier or lose weight, sometimes it's really difficult to keep motivated over a long period of time. Motivation mostly comes from within so it's up to you to keep yourself motivated even if you're feeling super lazy or craving really unhealthy foods! Firstly, it's really important that you recognise what your goal is.

This post will mainly focus on motivations for losing weight. Here are some tips:


  • "Limit not eliminate." It's okay to sometimes spoil yourself with delicious foods, just make sure you don't binge out! 
  • Set a reasonable goal weight you'd like to achieve and weigh yourself daily. Once you see progress, it only motivates you more.
  • Find a fitness buddy, it's always easier to push yourself when you're competing against someone else. Or maybe it's the case where you two motivate each other.
  • Keep track of what you eat, healthier eating habits allows you to feel better about yourself and creates a positive attitude
  • Reward yourself once in a while. This does not have to be with delicious foods but can also include buying yourself a new set of sneakers or workout clothes or anything else that is of interest to you.
